Club News  |  12th November 2021  -  Over The Board Competitions Return.

On the evening of Thursday the 28th of October 2021, Bedfordshire county teams celebrated the long awaited return of real, three dimensional, see the whites of your opponent's eyes, over the board chess. Hosted by Bedford Chess Club, eight teams took part in this rapid play event, with the top three places going to Leighton Buzzard A, Bedford A and Milton Keynes. Thanks to Adrian Elwin for keeping order and keeping score.

The Bedfordshire League season  for 2021/2022 starts on the 18th of November 2021 and will run through until May 2022.

Club Tournament Secretary, Adrian Elwin, is organising a set of competitions for all members of Milton Keynes Chess Club. The competitions are:

A Club Championship, an Open Swiss, an Under 1850 Swiss, an Open Knockout, an Under 1850 Knockout, a Rapidplay Ladder, a Rapid Play Tournament and a Blitz Tournament.
