As another summer bids farewell, waving shattered meteorological record books at us as it goes, we all look forward to the coming chess season.
Thursday, 6th September, will be the evening of our AGM, to be held in the Hub at The Open University. As usual, on the agenda will be a discussion about how many teams we can field in the 2018/2019 League. If you would like to play League chess this season, you must let us know, preferably before Thursday. Yes, it will be a commitment, but it is by far the best way to improve your game. The more players we have the more teams we can get out.
